In a news that rocked the television industry yesterday, Beyhadh actor Piyush Sahdev has been accused of rape by a model actress. According to a report in Bombay Times, Senior Police Inspector of Versova Police Station, Kiran Kale confirmed the development. He has since been arrested under Section 376, following rape charges. While the model actress has restrained from revealing her true identity, Telly Chakkar, has quoted her as saying that Piyush has been romantically involved with an actress as well as the creative person of his popular TV show. In an interview with the online entertainment portal, she said, “Well yes, he was two timing them! It was all a game for him and he was enjoying it thoroughly. There was no reason for him not to!” Meanwhile, there’s another shocking news that has surfaced since the news was out. It so happens, that Piyush’s sister, Meher Vij, who essayed the role of Insia (Zaira Wasim) in Secret Superstar, was unaware of the news until a leading news daily got in touch with her to get her statement.

“I got to know this from you. When did this happen? I don’t know anything at all,”stated the actress as quoted by The Times of India. “You know I haven’t been able to get in touch with my father so I too do not know anything about this news. Actually, Piyush and I haven’t been in touch at all ever since he got married. His wife had some issues so I chose to back off. Last night, however, in another shocking turn of events, a report of Piyush allegedly leaking the pictures of the victim on social media had been doing the rounds. However, the actor has maintained ever since that it wasn’t him but someone else who hacked into his account. The report by Tellychakkar has stated, “‘From last night, my friends and others are receiving abusive messages from my social media account. I have lost accessibility of my Facebook account.
