After celebrating the 6th birthday of her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan decided to take a big measure on a personally special occasion, that is the birthday of her late father, Krishnaraj Rai. Aishwarya decided to sponsor the treatment of 100 kids who were born with cleft lips and palates, a condition her father was born with as well. And so, along with Aaradhya, she visited the SMILE foundation, to meet and greet the children. But her star status became an issue of sorts in what was a personally special moment for the actress.

The 44-year-old, upon visiting and meeting the children she’s sponsoring at the SMILE foundation, cut a cake in her father’s memory. But being the star she is, shutterbugs are bound to follow. And this time around Ash wasn’t too pleased to greet them. The actress, overwhelmed from the paparazzi clicking away, got irritated by the chaos, and surprisingly enough reached a point of tears, incessantly asking the paps to stop clicking the pictures, reminding them this is not one of those events. Agitated at their behaviour, a teary-eyed Aishwarya pleaded to the cameramen saying, “Please stop it. You guys don’t know the work. This is not a premiere. This is not another public event. All this stress followed by what was an entertaining birthday bash at the Bachchan’s residence in Juhu, where not only was the family present, but some of the Bollywood stars and star kids present as well. It has been quite an engaging week for Ash as of yet, and one with a range of emotions.
