Markets Trade in Green, Sensex Jumps 125 Points to 33,483, Nifty at 10,335 - JPKee.com

Mumbai, November 21: After a choppy closing on Monday, key Indian equity domestic indices- BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened in green during early morning trade on Tuesday. BSE Sensex zoomed 101 points or 0.30% to 33,461.30 while the wider Nifty was up by over 34 points or 0.34% to 10,333.45. In the pre-opening session, Sensex was up by over 80 points while the wider Nifty was above 10,300. The Indian rupee opened at 65.11 a dollar on Tuesday. At 9.15am, the home currency was trading at 65.10 a dollar, down 0.01% from its Friday’s close of 65.10.
At 10 AM: Sensex zoomed 125 points or 0.37% to 33,483.45 during morning trade while the wider NSE Nifty was up by over 36 points or 0.35% to 10,335.15.
The top stocks in focus on Tuesday include L&T Finance, Infibeam Corporation, MIRC Electronics, Reliance Communications, Reliance Industries, SBI, Jet Airways among others. On Tuesday, Sensex and Nifty rode out sharp fluctuations, but closed flat, with realty, metal and power stocks saving the day for them. The market struggled for direction as the 30-share Sensex resumed on a high, but soon slipped on profit-taking, before settling up 17.10 points, or 0.05 per cent, at 33,359.90.
