Razer - the computer manufacturer that gears itself towards gamers - is making a phone and we're set to hear all of the details about it on November 1.

A new post on Razer's official website states there will be a livestream to reveal the new phone on November 1, but we've yet to learn the exact timings of the event.

We first suspected Razer was planning to make a phone after the company bought the manufacturer of the Nextbit Robin in January 2017.

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan also confirmed the device in an interview with CNBC back in September.

He said, "One of the most hotly rumored things about Razer is that we're coming up with a mobile device. And I can say that we are coming up with a mobile device specifically geared toward gamers and entertainment."

What will it be?

Little more has leaked about the new phone from Razer. We don't have any idea of the specs it will include, what will it will be called or whether it'll look similar to the Nextbit Robin.

As it's Razer it's safe to expect the phone will focus on top-end gaming features, which hopefully means it'll include some powerful tech. The URL for the livestream reads "watch, listen, play" which further suggests there will be a big focus on gaming on the new phone.

November 1 isn't far away, though, and we will be bringing all of the latest news to you as soon as possible on the new handset. For further details on how you can tune in to the announcement by Razer, head to the official website here where you can sign up for updates.
