New Delhi, Nov 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will address the nation and share his thought through 38th edition of Mann Ki Baat.




Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the PM had urged people to share their inputs with him on the NM Mobile App or by calling on 1800-11-7800. The All India Radio (AIR) has also set up a special stall at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) for visitors to record their suggestions to be included in ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio address.


Prime Minister Modi is likely to address a range of issues through his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on Sunday. He is expected to speak on the 9th anniversary of deadly Mumbai terror attacks, onset of winters. The PM may also touch down upon Gujarat Assembly elections 2017, which is scheduled for December 9 and 14.


The 38th edition of Mann Ki Baat will be heard by several senior BJP leaders, including Arun Jaitley and Amit Shah. As per the reports, they will tune in to Prime Minister’s monthly radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ over cups of chai in poll-bound Gujarat.


“On Sunday morning, we have organised ‘Mann ki Baat – Chai ke Saath’, wherein our workers would listen to PM Modi’s radio programme at all the 50,000 (polling) booths while having tea with people. This exercise is aimed to carry out a direct dialogue with the people,” BJP Gujarat president Bhupinder Yadav was quoted as saying.




In his last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, Prime Minister Modi had emphasised that families needed to pay closer attention to the health of their children, given the declining status of immunity among the younger generation, largely due to the “lifestyle disorder.”
