Sourav Ganguly and Harbhajan Singh’s Twitter Exchange Proves Their Friendship Off Field is Not-Out - JPKee.com

Former Indian Cricket Captain Sourav Ganguly and spinner Harbhajan Singh go a long way from being teammates and pretty good friends of the field too. Harbhajan Singh who married actress Geeta Basra a couple of years back is blessed with an adorable baby girl. Harbhajan Singh took to Twitter today and shared an adorable family picture of himself with wife Geeta Basra and daughter Hinaya Heer Plaha at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The three looked a picture perfect family and Harbhajan Singh captioned the picture as, “Satnam Shri waheguru ji.. sab nu khush te tandrust rakhna malka #Blessings #blessed #shukrana @Geeta_Basra.” However, the cherry on the cake was the twitter banter that he shared with Sourav Ganguly. Sourav Ganguly was quick to reply to Harbhajan Singh’s photo but he mistook the latter’s daughter for a son. Not wasting any moment Sourav Ganguly issued an apology too and blamed it on his “old age”. The Twitter exchange between the two cricket players proves that their friendship off-field is still going on and is not-out.

Sourav Ganguly replied on Harbhajan Singh’s family picture and wrote, “@harbhajan_singh ..beta bahut sundar hai bhajj..bahut pyar dena.” However, he soon realized his mistake and rectified it saying, “@harbhajan_singh .. maf karna beti bahut sundoor hai..getting old bhajj ..” Sourav Ganguly apologized saying that his old age was to be blamed for the mistake. However, Harbhajan Singh being a sport replied with amusement and wrote, “Dada thank you for your blessings..love to Sana.. hope to see u soon.” Check out the tweets below. World Children’s Day 2017: Sachin Tendulkar, Suresh Raina and David Beckham Lend Their Support to UNICEF

Their Twitter banter definitely shows what friendship and camaraderie they share between them that even though they have not played a match or shared a dressing room together since ages they still seem to be best of friends and extending wishes to each other’s family as well. No wonder, sports is such a binding factor it always brings people closer.
