Beyonce Becomes The Highest Paid Woman In Music Industry With An Income Of $105 Million - JPKee.com

Beyonce Knowles has become the highest-paid woman in the music industry in 2017 thanks to her hit album “lemonade” and a world tour. She topped the annual Forbes list that was revealed on Monday. She took the place by displacing Britain’s Adele and pop star Taylor Swift. According to Forbes, Beyonce earned approximately $105 million from sales of her album and from her “Formation” concert tour. She has become the highest-paid woman celebrity in the music industry with an estimated income of $105 million. Beyonce also earned considerably from her own Ivy Park fashion line and other separate business interests. British pop icon Adele secured second place although her earnings were not much in comparison to Beyonce. Adele’s album “25” broke first-week U.S sales records in 2015 but it was not enough for her to secure the first position. She completed her first major tour since 2011 also this year, but she earned her second place without having any major endorsements for any other products.

Taylor Swift who had topped the last year’s list released by Forbes with $170 million in estimated income, raked in only $44 million this time even though her “1989” world tour came to an end this year. However, the singer will once again be in the top billing next year as her earnings are supposed to rise considerably with her new album “Reputation” which became the best selling album of 2017. She is also planning an upcoming world tour. Beyonce Posts Pictures Of Her Newborn Twins Sir Carter and Rumi, Photo Goes Viral On Instagram

‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer Celine Dion took the fourth spot on the Forbes list earning some $42 million. The singer had taken a break following her husband Rene Angelil’s death in January 2016. The list was compiled by Forbes after estimating pretax income for the period from June 2016 to 2017. Managers, agents, lawyers, and stars were interviewed to compile the list. The Forbes list also took data from tracking firm Nielsen SoundScan and Pollstar, the Recording Industry Association of America.
