Kangana Ranaut Gets Injured On The Sets Of Manikarnika – See Pictures - JPKee.com
Kangana Ranaut is one professional actress who doesn’t shy away from pushing the bar higher with every film that she does. We all know how invested is she in her upcoming film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which is slated to release in next year. Pics of her shooting in Jodhpur had been doing the rounds and the talented actress looked gorgeous and regal in her Rani Laxmibai getup. Well, Kangana has also chosen to do all the stunts herself and not go in for a body double while shooting for the action sequences. While shooting a scene for which she had to jump from a wall on the top of a horse, the actress fell down and sprained her leg. She had been shooting for the film at Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur where the incident took place. She was reportedly rushed to a private hospital soon thereafter.
Dr Narendra Yadav of Goyal Hospital, Jodhpur, who treated Kangana’s injury told Hindustan times that the actress sprained her right foot but had no fracture. “We applied a plaster cast and she has been advised a week’s rest,” he told the leading daily. Kangana was reportedly discharged around 2am on Wednesday, after which she left for Mumbai to recover from the injury. She was welcomed at the Mumbai airport by shutterbugs who went on a frenzy clicking her pics. She was seated in a wheelchair and was seen wearing black jeggings and shirt along with a military jacket and cap. She had black glares on that went extremely well with her outfit. Trust Kangana to be on point with fashion even when she is badly injured. The brave actress that she is, no one could make out the intensity of the pain that she may be in, courtesy the smile that never left her face. Kangana was seen goofing around while the paps went on clicking her pics. In one of the pics she is seen lifting her plastered leg as high as her face to cover it. Interestingly, this is not the first time that the actress has injured herself while shooting Manikarnika. Earlier this year, she accidentally hurt herself while shooting a sword fight sequence on the sets in Hyderabad. The injury left a scar on the middle of her forehead, which Kangana sported as a badge of honour. Looking at her valiantly sport her injuries, we can’t help but fall in love with her even more. Hats off to the young lady! We are sure all her efforts and scars will bear fruit next April when the film is slated to release.
