Jennifer Winget’s Beyhadh Co-star Piyush Sahdev Arrested For Rape Charges - JPKee.com

Beyhadh actor Piyush Sachdev essays the character of character of Lord Ram in popular mythological show Devon Ke Dev…Mahade,  has been arrested by the Mumbai Police on the grounds of rape of an actress. As per a report in Bombay Times, Senior Police Inspector of Versova Police Station, Kiran Kale confirms the development: “Yes, Piyush Sahdev has been arrested under Section 376, following rape charges. He is in remand.”

Upon contacting Piyush’s father, Kulveer Singh Sahdev told the leading daily, “I have no clue about this. I am in Delhi now and will look into it.” Piyush’s brother, Girish Sahdev who is also a TV and Bollywood actor is not answering any calls following this development. Piyush’s estranged wife Akangsha Rawat, who has been living separately following her police complaint for cruelty and harassment, told the daily, “I have not been in touch with Piyush since the last four months. Piyush was also recently in the news for unusual activity on his Facebook account. The actor claimed that his account has been hacked and the hacker is sending abusive messages to his friends. There was also news suggesting the actor was having an affair with a creative team member of Beyhadh and had even started living in with her, and the reports cited this as the reason for his separation with his wife. However, the actor denied these reports saying: “Yes, it is true that Akangsha and I are getting separated. The divorce is already in process.
