US Naval Aircraft Carrying 11 People Crashes in Pacific Ocean; it Was Going to USS Ronald Reagan - JPKee.com

Washington, Nov 22:  A United States Navy aircraft, carrying 11 people, crashed in Pacific Ocean. The plane was going to aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan.

The Japan-based 7th fleet has said that the search and rescue operation has been launched from USS Ronald Reagan. The fate of the passengers is not known yet.

The seventh fleet said that plane was in the Philippine sea when the incident occurred. The plane crashed at around 2:26 Japanese standard time.

The names of the passengers have not been revealed. Their families will be notified first.

The US Navy said in a statement: “A United States Navy aircraft carrying 11 crew and passengers crashed into the ocean southeast of Okinawa.

“Personnel recovery is under way and their condition will be evaluated by USS Ronald Reagan medical staff.”
