Rajasthan: Controversial Love-Jihad Posters Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan Removed From Spiritual Fair - JPKee.com

New Delhi, Nov 20: A day after police inquiry was ordered, the controversial booklet and pamphlet warning Hindu girls of ‘love jihad’  were removed from ongoing Rajasthan’s spiritual fair on Monday.

Earlier on Sunday,  pamphlets carrying morphed picture of Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan were distributed by right wing group Bajrang Dal. It warned the people against ‘love jihad’ and also claimed that two Muslim actors (Saif Ali Khan and Aamir Khan) left their Hindu wives.

Another brochure by a right-wing group said that Muslim men have been using love jihad to convert Hindus for the last thousand years.

“Muslim boys’ regular visits to Hindu households, their incessant conversations with Hindu daughters, their respect for parents, who they address as ‘Mataji and pitaji’ etc. are all part of a larger scheme,” CNN-News 18 quoted texts from the pamphlet.

Talking to PTI, fair organiser Somkant Sharma said the content was not related to the fair. “I have no idea if such pamphlets have been distributed. The fair is totally based on the work of service,” he said.
