Passenger Dies of Heart Attack on Board Mumbai-Bound IndiGo Flight at Varanasi Airport - JPKee.com

Mumbai, Nov 23: A man died on board an IndiGo flight on Thursday after suffering a heart attack. The 65-year-old male passenger suffered a heart attack on board the IndiGo flight at Varanasi airport. The Mumbai-bound flight’s take off was averted after the pilot was informed. The passenger was later declared dead.

The incident happened at around 10:20 am at the Varansai airport when IndiGo Airlines flight 6E-711 was on the runway to take off for Mumbai, reports said. The passenger, identified as IB Tripathy, was reportedly travelling alone.

Authorities said that he suffered a heart attack and dies. The police are carrying out investigations into the incident.
