Madonna’s Unseen Nude Pictures Up For Sale on Auction Site - JPKee.com
A series of nude photos of American pop star Madonna as an 18-year-old will be up for auction on Gotta Have Rock And Roll on Wednesday. In the naked pictures taken by Cecil I Taylor at the Art World Institute of Creative Arts, a teenage Madonna is perfecting her ballet moves. Gotta Have it Rock and Roll, an online auction site for rock and roll and pop art is selling 108 images with original negatives. While earlier Madonna’s pictures being sold off in the auction have attracted controversies, this one seems to be going smoothly. Each of the pictures come with an opening bid between USD 800 and USD 1,200.

In one of the pictures that is being sold online, the singer with short hair is seen practising first position demi-plie with her naked back to the camera. Another picture shows her hands held above her showing off the abs. Her signature will also be up for sale along with the photographer’s, on the model release form they signed May 19, 1977. In February 2009, a nude, full-frontal photograph of Madonna was sold at auction for USD 37,500 in New York. The black-and-white photo taken by photographer Liz Friedlander which featured in a 1985 issue of Playboy was of a 20-year-old Madonna Louise Ciccone, as she was known then.

In July 2017, Madonna had sued Gotta Have Rock and Roll over around two-dozen personal items up for bid, including an underwear she wore. She said she hadn’t realized they were no longer in her possession until they appeared online. The auction was later frozen after intervention from the Supreme Court. Madonna had then called the sale ‘outrageous and grossly offensive’ and said that personal items may have been stolen from her
