In Ishqbaaz 20 November  2017 episode we see that Anika follows what Chanda told her and brings a cheap DVD for Shivaay to watch with her. She thinks that she would create a romantic mood and would definitely come closer to Shivay that night. Meanwhile Rudra and Omkar also decides to correct their mistake. Omkar goes to wake up Rudra in the morning and blames him for ruining the plan of bringing Anika and Shivaay closer. Gauri says that this time she will make the plan and she will make sure that Shivaay and Anika come closer to each other. She says that in her village everyone goes to get a love potion after they get married. The love potion brings a couple closer to each other and they consummate their marriage very soon. Omkar gets surprised to know that Gauri is aware of many things about marriage. Gauri says that in their village almost everyone knows about it. Gauri says that she will prepare orange juice for Shivaay and will mix the medicine in it, so that he doesn’t realise that she is giving her something extraordinary. Anika gets ready for the night and removes the cover from the DVD to make sure that Shivaay what is it. She thinks that if Shivaay will look at the cover of it, he will not watch it with her. Dadi goes to Shivaay’s room to find the DVD she ordered. She thinks that Shivaay must have bought the DVDs of Bhajan and she would really enjoy listening to some spiritual music. When she goes to Shivaay’s his room, she find the DVD which Anika kept for Shivaay. At night when Shivaay and Anika meet, Anika gives him  the glass of juice and asks him to drink it. She plays the DVD and it turns out to bhajans. Shivaay gets food poisoning  after drinking the juice of rotten oranges and starts puking. Anika gets fed up of the bhajans playing in the background and she throws the remote in the air. The remote falls on the cirtains and the curtains of her room catch fire.
