After Firangi, Kapil Sharma To Star In A Hollywood Comedy Show? - JPKee.com

After having won the hearts of audiences all across India with his weekly performances on The Kapil Sharma Show, and then also with his debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015). Now the comedian is ready with his second film Firangi, which is a period comedy, and it looks like he’s still not done conquering his field, as the comedian sets his sights on foreign lands.

Recently in a press interaction, the director of Firangi, Rajiev Dhingra revealed that the actor-comedian has an offer from Hollywood on his hands. “It’s an internal baat, Kapil has received an offer from Hollywood. A company called Bad Mamas made a series and they want to make a Hollywood series with Kapil, with one Hollywood star and one Indian star, which will be apt for both the countries and name I guess is Comedy Curry,” the director said. “We are going there and if we understand it, we’ll definitely do it. Talking about it, Kapil also elaborated saying, “I’ll let everyone know once it’s finalized. I have received a script from the west and they (makers) are very popular Big Mama Works. And I’ll definitely go there and meet them once since nothing major can be discussed over a telephonic conversation. But it’ll be a good thing if it materializes,” explained Kapil. As of now, Kapil’s film Firangi is a period drama comedy which alongside Kapil, also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill in the lead roles.
