These moisture-loving bacteria then multiply. In a study conducted by the University of Calgary, high level of mold microorganisms and fecal bacteria was found in the water sample collected from 70 unwashed water bottles. The study found that infection-causing bacteria like streptococcus and E. coli were present in over 60 percent of the bottles.
How often do you need to wash them: Daily!
2. Pillows and bed sheets

You must be changing your bed sheets but the frequency is important. You get into your bed every night and if you do not wash it frequently there is a risk of infection. Same applies for pillows. You need to wash the pillows and not just the pillow casing.
How often do you need to wash them: Wash bed sheets once a week and pillows, twice a year.
3. Bra
Girls just admit it, you are not washing your bra enough times. You bras are in close contact with your body and you need to wash them frequently, especially the underwired ones. You are not supposed to wear the same bra for two consecutive days as the elastic in the bra required some time to reshape. Get a few bras, so that you have enough to wear them in a rotation. This will give them time to reshape.

4. Makeup brush

Dishwashing sponge is teeming with bacteria. According to a study conducted in 2017, the number of bacteria found in the kitchen sponge was 362 and the density was 45 billion per square centimeter. The researchers of the study said that that type of densely packed colonies of bacteria is hard to find anywhere on the entire planet. Now, you know how serious the problem is. You not just have to wash the sponge but also sanitize it.
How often do you need to wash them: Wash it every day with soap and water. For sanitization, soak it in white vinegar for a few hours every week.
